The person behind the work

Zoe Birkett

Zoe Birkett is a singer and musical-theatre performer whose work spans television, touring and the West End. Her stage roles include Tina Turner in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Arabia in Moulin Rouge! and Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard on tour. Those contrasting productions put storytelling, vocal character and the demands of a sustained run at the centre of her working life. In Off Book, the conversation reaches beyond repertoire into professional relationships, boundaries, parenting and the work audiences never see.
