The person behind the work

Jodie Steele

Jodie Steele is an actor, singer and dancer whose musical-theatre work includes Heather Chandler in Heathers, Katherine Howard in Six, Elphaba in Wicked and Blanche in Bonnie & Clyde. Her career spans West End productions, UK tours and international work. Across those contrasting roles, the voice and the character are inseparable from a distinct performance identity. Her Off Book conversation explores individuality, preparation, honest professional relationships and the energy it takes to sustain a company through eight shows a week.
